Kihaad Maldives opening in December 2012

Kihaad Maldives announced that Kihaadhuffaru Island which was previously operated in the Italian market exclusively by Valtur is now being operated by HM LULU Pvt Ltd and is scheduled to re-open on December 2012 as an only All-Inclusive resort after extensive renovations.

Kihaad is a haven of peace and tranquility with a length of 600 meters and 250 meters in width, offering 118 spacious, private villas and whole range of simple and natural facilities. Kihaad has three restaurants and two bars offering sumptuous international and local cuisine.

Simplicity and Nature blends harmoniously together at Kihaad. The entire Island and lagoon is in the exclusive and private domain set just across the Hanifaru Bay which is a Marine Protected Area (MPA) biosphere reserve announced by UNESCO where whale sharks and manta rays meet seasonally. It is only limited to a number of accredited diving schools and resorts, Kihaad being one of them.

Just like UNESCO, Kihaad focuses on the preservation of marine life and local lifestyle, traditional ways and customs of serving and living together. That’s why we are the first `The Reserve` island in Maldives. Sharing not only beaches, sun and sea for a holiday season, also creating unique and memorable experiences that fosters a network and community to preserve the timeless beauty and specialty of Maldives.

A 35 minute sea plane photo-flight, by Trans Maldivian (TMA) will whisk you away to Kihaad Maldives from Ibrahim Nasir International Airport at Malé. Kihaad is also the closest resort in the entire Baa Atoll to the Dharavandhoo domestic airport which was opened in October 2012, where resort will provide alternative means of transportation.
